Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our busy and enthusiastic team. The role will primarily be maintaining and repairing various types of HVAC Refrigeration, within the Commercial & Retail sector. The right candidate will have the opportunity to further their career within the company.

Requirements:

  • PPM/Reactive tasks on air conditioning, refrigeration & ventilation systems and associated works to ensure job completion
  • Inspect installation works; carry out testing and commissioning checks
  • Preventative maintenance servicing
  • Provide service cover during allocated periods of stand-by
  • Complete relevant service documentation and reports Via PDA
  • Ensure activities meet with our Company’s requirements for quality, health and safety, environmental policies and general duty of care

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Sound knowledge and experience of carrying out maintenance and repair on all types of air conditioning & refrigeration systems including split, multi split, VRV/VRF, chillers, walk in cold stores, integrals, Ice machines & ventilation.
    2079 Safe Handling qualification – Essential
  • NVQ 1 & 2 OR Equivalent
  • CSCS cardholder
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills. Flexible approach to work/clients’ requirements. Be prepared to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the call-out rota.

Accounts Assistant (10 months maternity cover)

Location: Oxford

Start Date: August 2018

Job Type: Maternity Cover – 40 hours per week

Our Accounts department require an enthusiastic and reliable Accounts Assistant to join our small, friendly office based in Abingdon. The role will be for 9 months to cover maternity leave, with a start date late August. You will report to our Operations Director.

The ideal candidate will be capable of learning our system with minimal supervision, however initial training will be provided. You will be a fast learner, organised and show good attention to detail, have great time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload to meet monthly accounting deadlines. You will also have the ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts. Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing invoices and expense forms
  • Working with spreadsheets
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Invoicing through our CRM database
  • Dealing with any Accounts queries that may arise
  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Creating journals
  • Paying Subcontractors
  • Checking and preparing timesheets for Payroll
  • Paying Wages
  • Monitor bank accounts

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, punctual candidate with a flexible approach to tasks and ability to work on their own and as part of team with the following:

  • Ideally previous role(s) involving high levels of customer service
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, understanding of Microsoft Office and use of databases
